Day 2 - I'm now part cat

I must be part cat today. All I really want to do is nap and when I just woke up a few minutes ago, my tounge felt like sandpaper. I'm not purring yet, but my face is a little more furry.

Overall things are going much better today. The pain is a bit worse, but let's just say that it's easier to deal with the pain then other side effects of the surgery.

One last note before I take another cat nap. If you call my cell phone I will not be picking it up. It's nothing personal, but it hurts to talk and I can't really talk above a whisper. It would be about as satisfying as calling a mime.

Day 1 - They weren't kidding

So it's been a day since my surgery and let me say everyone was right. It hurts like hell. Imagine the worst sore throat you've ever had and then double that. The scary part is that supposedly it gets worse in a couple days before it gets better. I won't disgust anyone with the details, but it was a rough night and morning.
